hello winter . . . .

Here we are on the other side of the Winter Solstice and there is a fresh, new chill in the air. I love the fact that it occurred just in time for the solstice (I mean, of course it’s not going to coincide with our calendar date right?!)

After a busy morning by the sea on the morning of the solstice, I headed back down to the pool on Monday morning hoping for a quieter start to the day - and that was most certainly delivered! I had a little chat with Jim before having the entire pool area to myself for over an hour. My time there only ending because my feet were so cold that I had to head home!

It was such a delightful morning. After my cold dip in the lovely clean pool, I soaked up my calm & quiet surroundings as well as that gorgeous winter sunshine. I also enjoyed capturing some of my favourite things, including beautiful light, reflections and, as always, that magnificent coastline. I’ve included a few here but if you know me, you know there were many more taken!
